Everybody smiles with the same language (:

@Aino Lisma

Intercultural project between youngs and young adults around the world.

Goals and some ideas for making the project happen:

Goals:
-To create opportunities for youth from different countries to interact with each other
-To establish a link between people from different cultures by making them work with and learn from each other
-To make young people more open-minded and tolerant
-To bring out the positive sides of immigration and multiculturalism
-To develop young people's language and writing skills by working in english
-To improve critical thinking
-To make youth learn and understand how many similarities we share around the globe

Practices:
- teaching and learning from each other by sharing our thoughts, dreams, experiences, cultural habits etc in conversations through Skype, Facebook, e-mails or face to face meetings
- to maintain an intercultural blog for sharing our experiences and opinions by writing, bringing out videos and news from world, showing interviews and articles from us and others etc.
-to give participants assignments and share the work with other participants and bring it public in the blog
- to interview people from different cultural backgrounds(locals, immigrants, members of multicultural families, people who have travelled around the world etc)
- to work against prejudicism and racism by teaching youth to be open-minded, critical towards media and to experience before judging
- to go to have workshops in schools: teaching about cultures and how cultural background is influencing in our behaviour etc
- Pen-pal from an other country: to start up letter exchange among youth from different cultures to share thoughts, likes/hates etc.

"You must be the change u wish to see in the world."

Please, share your ideas with us if u have some! (:
